Hi, I'm Renee Bellinger
I am a health and nutrition coach with an MA in Counseling Psychology. I have also received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and am certified in nutrition by Precision Nutrition. I am also certified in Health Mindset Coaching, Sleep, Stress and Recovery, and Menopause Coaching.
Before becoming a health coach, I was a Behavior Specialist at a therapeutic school. I have 20 years of experience helping individuals identify problematic behaviors and develop skills to change them.
In this workshop, I will share DBT skills that have helped thousands of people manage their emotional eating. I've shared these strategies with other coaches and coaching groups and can't wait to share them with you.
I will teach you to focus on your feelings and how they relate to your urge to eat or drink in regretful ways. You will walk away with tools to cope with your emotions, improve your relationship with food, and live a happier life.
When I entered perimenopause, I noticed an increase in hunger, which I attributed to not having the right high-protein snacks. Coaches would give me suggestions, but I would still find myself raiding the pantry every afternoon and starting to regain the weight I’d worked so hard to manage.
Finally, when I made minor tweaks to my nutrition and addressed my emotional needs, I reduced my afternoon cravings.
